A few minutes later the magic plane was under a big old tree.
Sarah was in the middle of the Wild Wood.
She didn't know where to go.
"How can I get out of here?
" she asked.
"Can't you find the road?
" she suddenly heard a voice.
She looked up and down, but couldn't see anybody.
There was just an ugly old tree near to where she stood.
Then she heard the voice again.
" Speak up!

" Sarah understood that the tree was talking to her.
"Please, sit, " said Sarah.
"I'm looking for some magic mustard seeds.
" "The Vinegar Witch may have some, but I'm not sure", said the tree.
"The road to the Witch's castle is to the left of the road leading to the magic airport.
" "Could you repeat that, please?
" said Sarah.
"That was very difficult to remember.
" "Certainly not, " said the tree.
"You, young people, must learn to work without help.
Well, hurry up!
And he shook his leaves sadly.
Sarah went straight ahead.
It was difficult to walk because it was dark.
She wanted to take a bus , but there were no buses in the Wild Wood.
So she had to go on foot.
It was a long way.
By the time she saw the Witch's house it was already morning.
She went up to the castle and saw that the key was in the door.
She opened it and went in.

" she heard a voice from upstairs.
She went up and there she saw a large room.
In the middle of this room there was a fire burning.
In front of the fire there were two armchairs, and in one of them was an ugly old witch.
Her friendly black cat, Midnight, was in the other.

" Alice grew until her head hit the ceiling.
She took the gold key and opened the tiny door.
But now, of course, she was too tall to go through the door.
She sat on the floor and cried.

Jenny was so excited.
She looked forward to her winter holiday in the Swiss Alps all year and now she was finally there.
There were lost of interesting people in her group and the leaders seemed very professional and experienced.
Jenny couldn't believe her luck.
She was away from the city at last.
Everyone was amazed by the scenery on their first walk.
The snow - capped moutains looked beautiful against the clear blue sky and the air was so fresh.
There were colorful wild flowers everywhere.
Jenny stopped to take some photographs.
But, when she looked around she realised that everyone else had gone and she was completely alone!
Some time later jenny was walking along the track, when suddenly she saw that it divided into two paths and didn't really know which one to take.
She decided to follow the path on the right.
After a while there was a noise and the ground sank.
She screamed as she felt herself falling over the edge of the mountain, but managed to grab some bushes oh her way down.
She shouted as loud as she could, but no one came.
Then, just as she was losing, she felt two strong hands pull her to safety.
Thankfully, the group leaders quickly realised she was missing and went back for her.
Jenny was so relieved that they found her just in time!

She looked for some water to drink, butcouldn't find it anywhere as it had been avery hot and dry summer.
At last, themonkey saw a big pot.

She couldn't see any water, but then, itwas very dark in there.
The monkey puther hand into the pot and her long fingersfelt cold water.
