What are English Roses?

What they are is this : Four little girls whose names are : Nicole, Ami, Charlotte and Grace.

They played the same games, read the same books and liked the same boys.

Что такое Английские розы?
Вот то, чем они не являются : коробка шоколадных конфет ; футбольная команда ; цветы в саду.
На самом деле это четыре маленькие девочки, которых зовут Николь, Эми, Шарлотта и Грейс.
Девочки ходили в одну ту же школу и жили в одном и том же городе.
Они играли в одни и те же игры, читали одни и те же книги, им нравились одни и те же мальчики.
Они устраивали пикники летом и ходили на каток зимой.
Все это звучит забавно и мило.
И в большинстве случаев так оно и было.
Но существовала одна проблема.
Они слегка завидовали соседской девочке.
Ее звали Бина, и вот коротко о ней : она была очень, очень красивой.
Она отлично училась и была хорошей спортсменкой.
Она всегда была добра к людям.
В любом случае она была прекрасна.
Но, несмотря на это, она была грустной.
