Моё имя Айдар.

Мне 14 лет и я живу в Астане.

Астана столица Казахстана.

Я начал учиться в школе в возрасте семи лет.

Это была обычная школа в Алматы, где моя семья жила ещё раньше.

Спустя 4 года в начальной школе, я перешёл в среднюю школу.

Начальная и средняя школы вместе включают в себя 11 лет обучения.

9 лет обучения обязательны в нашей республике.

Учебный план начальной школы включает в себя такие предметы, как казахский язык, математику, русский язык, рисование, физическую культуру и музыку.

У нас также были классы природы.

Наша школа не была школой английского языка, но у нас были английские классы, в которых мы начинали учиться со второго класса.

Наш школьный год начинался первого Сентября и заканчивался в Мае.

Он длился 9 месяцев.

У нас были 4 каникул в году : зимой, весной, летом и осенью.

Первого Сентября мы познакомились с нашими учителями и были на нашем первом уроке.

Каждый урок длился 45 минут.

Каждый день у нас было по 4 или 5 уроков.

Обычно у нас было много домашнего задания и его выполнение занимало у нас два часа.

Если мы не знали, как его делать, то обычно просили учителей за помощью.

Children in Russia spend 4 years in primary school.

Most schools in Russia have numbers, not names, and in some schools students wear uniforms.

Every school has got classrooms, a gym, a computer room, a library and a canteen.

Students have 4 - 5 lessons a day and the subjects they have are : Russian, Reading, Maths, English, Nature Study, Computer Study, Art, Handicraft and PE.

During the breaks the children play games and relax.

After the lessons some students stay at school and do homework with their teachers because their parents are at work.

But I'm sure my life here will be more interesting than it was in my primary school.

I am older too.

I am twelve now.

We spend much time outdoors.

Sometimes our teachers take us to famous museums and other interesting places in London.

Our teachers often say that pupils at school are not only to learn the lessons and work (usually in the classrooms, practical rooms or laboratories, on the sports grounds) but to learn how to get on with other pupils and other members of the school who look after us and the school.

We learn how to live together with people of different ages.
