Британская школа.

Хорошо, я пошла в традиционную местную британскую школу.

Я окончила ее 4 года назад.

Школа была в городе.

Там было почти 700 студентов и это была начальная школа.

Там было много удобств для спорта : теннисные корты , плавательные бассейны.

Там также хорошие научные лаборотории и много компьютеров.

Классы маленькие поэтому если ты провалишься с работой, учитель поможет тебе.

Возможно это изменилось сейчас, но у нас было много предметов и иногда у нас были уроки в субботу утром.

Было несколько перемен, когда мы могли быть вместе.

Нам задавали много уроков и мы делали много тестов.

Я помню что клубы после школы были довольно популярными.

Я была в драмкружке - однажды мы поставили гамлета.

Там было много правил и дисциплина была строгой.

Мы могли выйти из школы в определленное время и вынуждены были надевать форму.

Well, I went to a traditional British public school .

I left it four years ago.

The school is in the city.

It has about 700 students, and it’s mostly a boarding school.

There are lots of facilities for sport — tennis courts, a swimming pool.

There are also good science laboratories and lots of computers.

The classes are small, so if you fall behind with you work the teacher will help you with it.

It may have changed now, but we did a lot of subjects and we even had lessons on Saturday mornings!

We had some free afternoons when we could be together.

They have us lots of homework and we had tests all the time.

I remember that afterschool clubs were quite popular.

I was in a drama club - we once put on a performance of Hamlet.

There lots of rules and discipline was strict.

Помогите составить 10вопросов на англ Alternative American school.

My school was very different from most schools.

It was in a lovely old house in a forest.

There were only sixty pupils.

There weren't many facilities, but there was a good library if you wanted to look up information or cutch up with your work.

You won't believe this, but we didn't have to go to lessons!

And there was no homework or tests, or anything like that, we could do what we wanted.

If you wanted to study, we just went to the teachers and asked them to help us.

At first, I was bored!

Then I got interested in scince and computers, i studied science with a teacher who i got on with.

I LIKED IT SO much that now I'm studying engineering at university and i want to go on to do further research.

There were lots of other activities at school you could take up if you wanted - sport, painting and acting.

The best thing was that we were free, and the school was democratic.

Everything was decided at school meetings, and everyone could vote - earch student had the same vote as the teachers.

We all kinds of things - we even choose the teachers!

A lot of people don't believe me, but it worked really well.

For some reason British food does not have the best reputation in the world?

For some reason British food does not have the best reputation in the world.

A few years ago I asked a ____________ (VISIT) to Britain about the local food.

He described it as tasteless and __________________ (BORE).

I cannot agree with his opinion and find his words totally __________________ (FAIR).

For a start, British desserts and cakes are so good that British school children are often punished with ' no pudding' if they don't behave __________________ (PROPER).

And apart from the desserts there are lots of fantastic traditional British dishes, including the __________________ (FAME) full English breakfast, mouth - watering sandwiches, and delicious soups.

Britain has amazing vegetarian restaurants and all the __________________ (NATIONAL) food you could possibly imagine, including Italian pasta restaurants, Indian curry houses and Japanese sushi bars.

Lots of foreigners return home with much better stories about British food.
