Boris’ Holidays Last summer Boris travelled a lot.
He visited Great Britain, Canada and France.
He went there by plane.
He had his camera with him and took a lot of pictures.
Boris met a lot of interesting people and saw beautiful places.
He was happy when on holiday.

dogs and he was wet to the skin.
He had been riding for a few hours before he could find
an inn.
When he entered the inn he saw a lot of people there.
They were sitting in front of the
fire and there wasn't a seat left for him.
A good idea struck him.
He called the waiter and said to him in a loud voice : "Boy, take
a plate of oysters to my horse.
"
Everybody was surprised.
The waiter put some oysters on the plate and went out.
Naturally, the other people went out to see if the horse would eat the oysters.
A few minutes later the waiter returned with the news that the horse had refused to eat
the oysters.
When the other people returned they saw that the traveller was sitting
comfortably in a chair.
He was warming his feet beside the fire.
And suddenly
everybody realized why the traveller had ordered the waiter to take the oysters to the
horse.

It was a cold winter day.
There was a lot of snow on the ground.
The sky wasn't blue, and the sun didn't shine at all.
There weren’t any people in the street.
Vadim Petrovich went to the farm.
It is not far from his house, so he walks there.
The road was white with snow and he couldn't walk fast.
When he came to the farm, some people wanted to see and talk to him.
His working day began.
At 1 o'clock he went home to have dinner.
He had dinner with his wife and little daughter who does not go to school.
He ate his dinner, rested a little, and went back to the farm.
Vadim Petrovich had to talk to some people, to write some letters, and to do some other work.
At 5 o'clock he had an important meeting.
And only at 8 o'clock he came home.
