Лидеры страны обсуждают всё в Доме Парламента.

Эти мужчины и женщины являются голосом самих жителей Британии ( тоесть их голоса или их мнение является самым важным, решающим).

Дом Парламента розмещен рядом с рекой Темза.

Вы можете поплыть на лодке от Вестминстера и увидеть Лондон с реки.

Также вы можете увидеть Биг Бен и Дом Парламента с Вестминстерского моста.

They want to see the clock in its tower and hear the bells.

Big Ben is really a bell.

The bell is over two metres tall and chimes' every quarter of an hour.

Early in the morning you can hear it on the radio : "This is the BBC.

The time is six o’clock”.

And then you hear the deep boom of Big Ben six times.

The tower of Big Ben is a symbol of London and of Britain.

The Tower is very old.

It has a long and cruel history.

It was a fortress, a royal palace, and a prison for important people.

Today it’s a museum.

Special guards look after the Tower and take care of the black ravens that live there.

There is an ancient legend that the Tower and Great Britain will fall if the ravens ever leave the fortress.

We know that Westminster Abbey was built by King Edward in 1065.
